Tim Hofman is a classically trained, concert pianist who has performed all across the United States and abroad.
He studied under Roger Priese of the National Symphony in Washington D.C.
For those of you who have been following my music career over the last few years, you may have noticed that my 'focus' has taken a decidedly more ministry-oriented turn. I would like to give some explanation as to why this is happening.
First, let me say that I have always considered my musical ability to be a gift from God. As such, I feel the best thing I can do with that gift is to use it for the benefit of God's kingdom. The music I compose has always been a reflection of my spiritual walk in one way or another. This, in itself, is nothing new.
What is new, however, is that I have become increasingly aware of the Lord leading me more in the direction of ministry in general. I have come to realize, however, that the 'career' aspect of my life is nothing more than one stop on a much longer road, a road that is taking me to places I never expected to go. |
